STRONG. SMART. BRAVE.

My objective is to design luxurious residential spaces and presnt them through carefully crafted watercolor renderings.

PROJECTS

My name is Zaria Nicole, and I am a fourth-year architecture student at the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in Architectural Practice and Enterprise. My education has trained me to think across both the urban and architectural scale, allowing me to approach each project with an understanding of how buildings shape cities, neighborhoods, and the everyday lives of the people who inhabit them. I work primarily through traditional methods, including watercolor rendering, hand sketching, and hand drafting. These techniques allow me to explore proportion, light, materiality, and atmosphere in a more intentional and expressive way than digital tools alone.

Through watercolor in particular, I strive to communicate not just what a building looks like, but how it feels to experience its warmth, elegance, and sense of place. My design goal is to create high-end residential architecture that gives families a feeling of both royalty and comfort. I am especially interested in designing homes that feel dignified, timeless, and deeply personal. I believe architecture has the power to shape how people see themselves and their future, and I aim to design residences that reflect luxury, beauty, and stability.

Through my time at Notre Dame, I have developed a strong foundation in classical precedent, architectural composition, and visual storytelling. I am eager to continue expanding this foundation through internships and professional experience, where I can learn from practicing architects, refine my technical skills, and contribute meaningfully to the design of thoughtfully crafted, enduring homes.
